modified one bite rule: Georgia Dog Bite liability is based upon the modified one bite rule, which does not actually require a prior attack to put the owner on notice of the dog’s vicious nature. In Georgia, the owner can be held liable for any future damages the dog causes after attacking a person or other animal.
